Best Aqua Class Cabins on Celebrity Edge
If you want a balcony cabin with extra amenities -- without paying the much higher fare for a suite -- Celebrity Cruises' Concierge Class and Aqua Class rooms are great options. Both have the same floorplan as a regular balcony room, but they can be a tad roomier and add exclusive perks not available to regular passengers (including priority check-in and debarkation, faster luggage delivery and free shoeshine service in both categories). If you're comparing Celebrity Cruises' Aqua Class vs. Concierge Class cabins, here's what you need to know to make your choice. Aqua Class cabins add spa-themed perks and amenities to the standard balcony cabin experience. The rooms are each enhanced with a fancy spa shower, plush bathrobes and slippers, an aromatherapy diffuser, pillow menu and two yoga mats on Edge-class ships and "revolutionised" ships. Passengers can take advantage of a spa concierge who can reserve spa treatments, as well as complimentary tea, an expanded room service menu, some wellness programming on your in-cabin TV and unlimited access to the SEA Thermal Suite on Edge-class ships or Persian Garden on Millennium- and Solstice-class ships. Plus, Aqua Class passengers can dine for free in Blu, an exclusive dining venue featuring calorie-conscious (or so-called "clean cuisine"), for breakfast and dinner. Concierge Class passengers receive priority seating at onboard restaurants and access to a special lounge on embarkation day, where they can wait in comfort to board the ship. In-room amenities include a welcome bottle of sparkling wine with a commemorative label, pillow menu, afternoon canapes, fresh fruit, special toiletries, an upgraded spa showerhead and use of binoculars, a golf umbrella and an extra hair dryer. These balcony cabins are often located in more desirable locations on the ship (upper decks, often midship) than the standard balconies. Despite the name, Concierge Class passengers do not have access to a personal concierge; they can use the ship's concierge who is available to all cruisers. Your decision really comes down to which perks are worth your money. Choose Aqua Class if you want to spend a lot of time in the spa and its thermal suite or prefer to dine at an exclusive restaurant, rather than in the main dining room. Choose Concierge Class if you don't mind paying extra for a prime cabin location and some nominal extra amenities.Aqua Class Perks
